With on-site staff, residents know who they can turn to for answers to their questions or concerns. Residents can also utilize our 24-hour emergency maintenance services in the event anything stops working properly in their home. In the rare instance that emergency services are needed, we provide timely maintenance to ensure that everything is restored to proper working order.
With individual housing contracts, residents are only responsible for their portion of the monthly installment payments. If a roommate misses a payment or moves out, you and your student won’t be penalized in any way. Our housing contracts also align with Penn State University’s academic calendar. This way, students can be fully settled into their new apartment before classes begin.
Are you looking for more control over how you are matched with roommates? Through the RoomSync app, residents are empowered to choose roommates and build a sense of community using lifestyle habits such as cleanliness levels, studying habits, sleep cycles, and more. RoomSync offers an experience that supports a diverse and inclusive matching community through gender-inclusive tools. Furthermore, the app recognizes the importance of living criteria like service and emotional support animals and factors this into the matching process.
Due to the guidance from President Biden’s executive order 13988 issued on January 20, 2021, provides that both sexual orientation and gender identity are included in federally protected classes. Discrimination of any type is prohibited by the Federal Fair Housing Act (FHA).
